Youth engagement, like GEGISOM’s afterschool programs, and aid for the homeless, like Housing Resources Inc. are just a couple of causes I enjoy supporting.

I had the privilege of aiding Novia at Lotusville with the rebranding of her business.
After we established a brand identity and a logo, I provided illustration and packaging design for her popular scents.
At the Market, I provide continuous graphic support to all aspects of the business. I’ve taken pride in the solutions that the Art department hatches up here. We’ve simplified many of the business’ signage formats and have maintained a focus on accessibility.
At Dekalb Farmer’s Market, we had the unique challenge of selling foods and items that weren’t familiar to the average customer. It was here that I could for the first time see the direct results of my work. An unfamiliar brand with poor design would often stay on the shelf, and more appealing ads would empty shelves.
When New York-born Rapper Jessy Surin asks for a project, I get a big smile on my face. He often includes Caribbean inspired instrumentals over trap beats, and is a real maverick to the genre. Each project here is something sporadic and new, as he never really wants the same thing twice.
